Upward Architecture worked with the Homeowner’s Association and the CWD Group, the building’s property manager, on renovations to the common area and hallways of the Bay Vista Condominiums. The tower is a 1982-built 24 story mixed-use building, located in between the Space Needle and the waterfront. Addressing the neglected hallways and common spaces, the Upward designed two schemes which updated the lighting and overall aesthetics.
On the resident floors, we proposed to remove outdated lighting and add a wood slat ceiling with recessed lighting to provide a warmer and more contemporary space. New carpet with a tile border replaced the existing flooring, and a durable wall covering updated the blank walls throughout the hallways.
