This modest renovation and addition to a classic Magnolia bungalow created a new welcoming front entrance and porch, refreshed the interiors, and created a strong connection from the main living areas to the elegantly landscaped backyard. A new kitchen provides updated cabinetry and appliances, quartz countertops, and accentuates views to downtown Seattle. Materials and finishes were chosen to reflect the owners’ contemporary tastes while remaining sympathetic and gracious to the character of the 1940’s-era home.
