The Granite Creek Cabin was designed to rest atop an existing foundation left on the site when the property’s prior owner foreclosed. The design provided an elegant great room – covered by exposed hewn trusses – focused on the site’s commanding views of the Cle Elum Valley. A simple shed roof over the home’s 2 upstairs bedrooms contrasted the gable roof over the great room. Work completed while a founding principal at Urbanadd.
